Spring and Summer Camps!

Jan 2011: We are preparing for this spring and summer camps!
Hundreds of orphans and street kids will be touched by our 6 ministry teams!
Two from California Baptist University, one from Vanguard University, two from Seattle Pacific University and a Spring team from King's High School in Shoreline, WA! 

Each team will be working with children who are orphaned, have HIV, have been exposed to Tuberculosis, have been living on the streets, or have mental and physical disabilities.


Celebrating Christmas!

Jan 2011: Each Christmas we share with orphans about the true meaning of Christmas.  Many children have never heard about a baby born in a manger a long time ago. A baby that brought hope to the fatherless, the widow and the poor.


Thank you to everyone who gave this Christmas. Because of you children heard about Jesus for the first time!

Oct 2010: Take time on November 7th to remember over 143 orphans worldwide!  May your heart be broken for the fatherless in all the nations.  May you not stay indifferent to the Cry of the Orphans!

Thank you Volunteers!

Sep 2010: This summer we had over 50 volunteers dedicate themselves to serve the fatherless in Russia! Hundreds of children and teens experienced love and acceptance for the first time. 

They found out that there is someone who cares for them on this earth and in Heaven!

A Different Take on Summer Break!

June 2010: Over 30 students decided not to stay at home for their summer break, but to go across the ocean and meet children who are abandoned, abused and orphaned.

 

For the past two months SunErgos hosted five camps with the help of four Ministry teams from USA and Canada.

Christ Has Risen! He Has Risen Indeed!

Apr 2010: This year the Orthodox and the Protestants celebrate Easter on the same day! This Sunday, around the world, Christians will greet each other with "Christ has Risen! He has Risen Indeed!"

Nov 8, 2009: Churches across the nation this Sunday will raise awareness of the world’s 143 million orphans as part of a concerted effort to promote adoption among believers in the pews.

July 2009: Dr. Slava never thought that a colleague from Canada would come to meet the children he takes care of in Russia.  This summer, two pediatricians, working on two different continents, met and shared their work experience working with babies.

Celebrating International Children's Day
June 2009: Each year on June 1st the World stops to remember children at risk - abused, abandoned and orphaned.  This year, SunErgos took part in the celebration on Palace Square in St Petersburg, Russia.

June 2009: This year, the International Children’s Day is a special day for all of us. It is celebrated as the Day of Protection of Children’s Rights, as this year, the 20th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child is commemorated worldwide. 

 


Witnessing to government officials…

May 2009: No one knew that eating at a place well known in the USA would cause so much heartache.  The teams from the US were so excited to see American food in Russia, that Subway sandwiches were eaten up so fast, out of fear that they might grow legs and run!  That night more than half fell ill.
